Et une lecture plus approfondi du tableau rélève mille et un détails dont des individus, des plants, et animaux se débattant pour leur survie. Après un travail de plus de 3 ans et demi, on peut comprendre l'émotion que ressent l'artiste.

Following the terrible earthquake and tsunami in 2011 in Japan, artist Manabu Ikeda began his work entitled "Renaissance". This huge painting (4 m X 3 m) is done with pen and ink. It represents a tree that grows in the middle of the debris caused by the enormous destructive wave. And a deeper reading of the painting reveals a thousand and one details of which individuals, plants and animals struggling for survival. After working more than three and a half years, we can understand the emotion that feels the artist.
