Design City Luxembourg – “Edition 0” by Mudam est l’événement « design » à ne pas manquer au Luxembourg et dans la Région. Organisée par Mudam en collaboration avec la Ville de Luxembourg, cette nouvelle manifestation – d’où l’édition 0 – propose pendant six semaines une série d’événements qui mettent le design industriel et urbain à l’honneur, et ce dans différents lieux de la Ville de Luxembourg.

C'est une animation peu banale que réalisent les 2 danseurs du group Bandaloop puisqu'il s'agit d'une chorégraphie vertical sur la mairie d'Oakland. Grace aux nouvelles technologies, vous pouvez voir 'in situ' les points de vue des danseurs. Incroyable !!!

Faisant suite au terrible tremblement de terre et au tsunami survenus en 2011 au Japon que l'artiste Manabu Ikeda a commencé son oeuvre intitulé "rebirth" (renaissance). Ce tableau immense (4 m X 3 m) est réalisé minutieusement à la plume et à l'encre. Il représente un arbre qui pousse au milieu des débris provoqués par l'énorme vague destructrice. Et une lecture plus approfondi du tableau rélève mille et un détails dont des individus, des plants, et animaux se débattant pour leur survie. Après un travail de plus de 3 ans et demi, on peut comprendre l'émotion que ressent l'artiste.

Following the terrible earthquake and tsunami in 2011 in Japan, artist Manabu Ikeda began his work entitled "Renaissance". This huge painting (4 m X 3 m) is done with pen and ink. It represents a tree that grows in the middle of the debris caused by the enormous destructive wave. And a deeper reading of the painting reveals a thousand and one details of which individuals, plants and animals struggling for survival.
